Looks like a great project. I am currently doing a 66 Malibu Wagon build that I have turned into a 2dr Nomad. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29015
Mine was from the Detroit area. It was fairly solid but did have a few rust issues in weird places. Yours also looks solid and hopefully you will find less rust than we do here on the East Coast.
I see you also have a 56 Chevy. One of my current drivers is a 56 Chevy2dr 210 Wagon that I designed and built into an ElCamino.
Good luck and have fun with your build.

Your supplies look exactly like a body man I use to work with. I would ask how long it takes to do something and he would always say "I will have it done in 6 or 7 Beers!"

Well, it's been quite a while since I posted any progress...........but we've got lots to report. All new suspension, all powder coated, engine and transmission in, rear end swapped to a Chevelle rear with 3:31 gears. All new wiring harness thanks to AAW, refurbed radiator. Front sheet metal all back on...........and Saturday, we fired it up and drove it out of the garage for the first time! Open headers and all..............a happy day at our house!

Well that's exciting! It has been awhile but since it would seem you have been spending all your time in the garage all has been forgiven.
