It's got to be one or the other. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Countr...69a77d83:g:fA8AAOSwrb5XPfIU&item=152096439683
Might just be one of those sellers that starts at unrealistic prices and then relists at a lower price until he finds the highest point at which a buyer becomes interested. Looking at the CA smog test history this car sometimes took 3 or 4 attempts to pass. Last one was for title transfer in Feb 2015 after it failed 3 times in 2014 without passing so doesn't show a registration that year. Seller is probably hoping to sell out of state so he doesn't have to go through that nightmare again.
Could be true, but for what this car is and whats being asked we just mite be seing the price drop for YEARS before anyone even contacts seller for info! To the seller, I offer this meme.............
I coulda swore I saw this wagon listed. I remember it needing transmission work, but don't remember the $20k starting bid. I look at Ford and Mercury wagons listed on Ebay daily. I wonder if he had second thoughts or sold it locally, went back and edited the price, making it so high, knowing that no one would bid on it. It seems like Ebay changed their policy recently, giving you strikes for ending listings early. EDIT: Oh yeah. I just went back and looked at the pics. I remember now. When first listed, the starting bid on this auction was around $2500 it seems like. The seller definitely went back and changed the starting bid.
