New Wagon lover here with a 1954 Country Squire. I bought it in November 2014 in pieces and spent the winter putting her back together. Drove it for the the first time on Father's day 2015. I'm still working out some bugs and fixing some leaks but she runs great and gets lots of attention.
It's got the factory 239 y block, Ford-o-matic, power steering and manual drum brakes.

My daily driver is a 2010 Ford Flex Ecoboost. Not as cool or fun as the more traditional wagons, but it's the best I can do in a modern vehicle, and the 365hp AWD is LOTS of fun!

    Welcome to long roof land!
This is a great place to show off what you do and have done... along with sharing ideas and asking questions about how, what and where.
    More pictures is better.

I'd rather drive the '54. It's looking great. :Welcome:
Fathers Day in the late 80's was our first ride in our '55 Chevy wagon.

    Welcome aboard!
Love your '54 Country Squire...cool wagon. I like the '52-'54 body style.
I think it outclasses the Flex anytime...although not practical for daily use.

Why is it not practical for daily use?
I drive my '58 every day! Even in the winter and... it sits on the street to boot!

you know everyone has always praised the tri 5 chevies.....the nomad wagons etc, but I have to say that the 54-57 Ford wagons hold their own next to the chevys and then some...............good looking wagon you have.

    Welcome.
I must say, I like both of your wagons. I have liked the Flex since they cam out and have to say 365 HP and AWD is a pretty good combination. I like how you have the "classic" FORD wagon and the "New" FORD wagon.

Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your cars and be sure to post. As has been stated, we LOVE photos.
