    Hi everyone!!
    I live in Mexico city.
I have been rebuilding 40's and 50' s Fords all my life with my father.
    I just bought a couple of station wagons a 1957 Plymouth 2 door and a 1959 Ford.
I am not sure how to GO about rebulding them in order enjoy them the most when they are done.
Both are in really good shape and complete.
    Runing and driveable.
The questions are mainly about which way to GO.
    Restomod or original.
Thank you for the oportunity to enter your shops and letting me have a cold Beer.

Welcome aboard Magodeoz. Congrats on your recent purchases.

How about doing one of each, one restomod and one original? Personally, I'm a purist. I prefer keeping my wagons as factory-original as I can to preserve their history. Station wagons are a lost art form these days.

Anyway, pics go a long where here. Post some when you can? They sounds like neat wagons. Thanks for joining us!

Welcome to the forum! Looks like some great projects there. The Plymouth is a 1956, in '57 there was a big restyle.
    Cool wagons!

I know, it has very specific details to it.
    Very cool details.
I bought it over the Phone trusting the owner and like he said it all works.
    Even the turn signals.
I am abroad righ now. I will post more pics when I get home in a couple of weeks.
I want to sell one of the wagons, anyone knows their value?

:Welcome:Welcome aboard Magodeoz. From the photos both wagons look great. I'd keep that Plymouth mostly original because of it's rarity.
    I don't remember offering you any beer?:drink:

Welcome. They are both unique and cool in their own way. I love bone stock original cars, and I also love tasteful restomods.
It comes down to what you want and what you plan to do with it. Good luck deciding which one you want to do and which direction you chose to go.

    Welcome!

I'd vote for keeping the '59 Ford Country Sedan more on the 'stock' side.
The '56 Plymouth is sort of an odd duck. Not really all that popular with collectors. That's probably the one I would go crazy with. Find yourself a nice running 383 V8 with a Torqueflite auto trans behind it, and hit the drag strip.

    Confused.
    On the Plymouth:

    ModelT1 says
    Rarity
    Krash kadillac says
    Odd Duck.

Any more comenta on the 59.
Apparently form.your coments and what ive read.
This one is the candidate to GO stock.

    To hit that dragg strip...
I also thought the Plymouth could be the candidate.
Should I stick to the marque and maybe drop in a newer Hemi in it ?
