Hard to tell by the photos but looks straight and with that mileage and new engine could be a good deal. Makes me wonder why it needed a new engine at 63,000 miles or less.
this looks to be the same back ground of a 76 brown caprice estate that was for sale around $2500 some 15 months ago. The car was a rot box but the comments on here were about all the good parts that remained.
http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/threads/1976-chevrolet-caprice-estate.36127/ pretty sure this was the same seller, but linked pictures dont work.
I have inquired for more pictures and details. I agree could be more like a $4500 car but will wait to hear from the owner.
If it is clean it is not a bad price. Most likely it is not or seller would have said so. Or as stated it could be the rare wire color exterior
So is this wagon even worth messing with because I'm desperately trying to replace the wagon I definitely shouldn't have but just did sell recently. (LESSON LEARNED)
To me, it is priced way too high given it has basically no options on it. It does look solid from what we can see.
Never be desperate when buying a collector car. I would start by looking at it in person. The pictures do not give you any idea as to condition.
Bought this a few weeks ago. Hopefully I can get it picked up on Friday. He took $1000 less and the reason it has a new motor is because he built it for derbies but sold everything before he could use it. He didn't want it just sitting in his garage so he put it in this wagon. The original motor comes with it.
