I am now confused. I think I have a BFH and a BFS mixed up.
Not worried about sparks just punching a hole in a fuel tank. Well then sparks would be bad!:slap:
Something I have had for many years is a six foot bar with a foot on the bottom for moving RR cars manually. I've used it for many jobs. I suppose it's a BFB.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to rephrase the question. Here in the western hemisphere, we don't change tyres, we change tires! :)

Haha, I thought BFS meant big f$%king screwdriver , but are we talking more about this? (see pic) After wrestling with the screw driver, I moved to a hammer, which worked somewhat, but not enough. This was the next option.

And wagonman, you're right, 2 man job for sure. I recruited a mate, hopefully this weekend.

Jaunty, south of the Equator aka downunder, we have tyres:thumbs2:

    cheers

    Big F'ing Screwdriver
    if i remember right ,
jack up the offending side to get the tire off the ground
insert the screwdriver into the shackle
this is the tough one as your mate is letting down the jack slowly, twist the shackle . there will be a point if you twist it far enough it will pop into the right direction. it may take a few times but you just have to nudge it in the right direction

I'm poor but not German. Still I didin't know that a BFS was a screw driver. The long RR pry bar I have has one pointed end good for sticking in things and prying or pushing.

wagon man--------in the south it is a tyer i believe  Correction: The southerners I know call those things TARS.
Still whether it's a tire, tar, tyre, or any other usage I'm tired of this topic!:slap:
