1963 AMC 990 Wagon

Survivor - original paint - 327 with 3 on the tree and OD. Also third seat - looks like a nice original wagon - next city over from me if you want someone to look at it - a little overpriced IMHO with a $5,500 starting bid. I do not know the folks selling it.

Yah, overpriced.......but has potential. We'll see if and when reality settles in.

 

Please. It was not called an "AMC" wagon in 1963. It was a RAMBLER Ambassador!

 

This was the top-of-the-line Rambler in '63. Still quite a bit smaller than the 'Big 3' models that year. Here's a match-up between the Ambassador and the '63 Ford Fairlane 500 Custom Ranch wagon, a mid-sized vehicle back then:
