Hi, I'm Dermot originally from Portland OR, resident in Sydney Australia.
I have a very fine 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car with the 460 which I imported from Pennsylvania 4 years ago, to replace a 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance that I'd had for 12 years. The Lincoln is a pampered and always-garaged daily driver. Gorgeous, in Ice Blue Moondust with no vinyl roof and blue velour interior.

I collect US Big Three car literature from the classic Long Low and Wide era, c1957 to the early 1980s, and have 376 unique catalogs, several duplicates, and a lot of other related material.

I also like big station wagons, especially Fords and Mercurys from the years 1973-1978 - when they were mercifully free of door window frames.

I have the catalogs for 1973-1978 Ford and 1973-1977 Mercury station wagons, and despite having been a car literature collector for 17 years, and knowing many good sources, darned if I can find a 1978 Mercury Station Wagon catalog. I am thinking it does not exist, which would be odd. Does anyone here have one?

Welcome Dermot! Glad you joined us. Now all you need is a nice station wagon to go with the Town Car.

    Welcome to the forum, Dermot!

As to your interest in auto brochures, I'm not entirely sure Mercury would have put out a specific wagon brochure in '78. Didn't they only have two sizes of wagons that year, Grand Marquis and Zephyr?

Anyway, I'm about 99.9% sure you already know about this brochure web site, but I'll link it anyway. I go to it constantly for information.....
