This week is the famous Woodward Dream Cruise, Back To The Bricks and tons of other great car events in Michigan.
Drove my 56 Chevy from New York again this year. Been checking out some of the events and cruises. Visited the GM Heritage Center this morning to view the historical collection of concept and rare cars.
Been coming since the 90's. If you have a bucket list put Michigan on it during the middle of August.

Many camping vacations all over Michigan. Mostly like the dunes areas along the Lake. Our 55 Chevy wagon has been at the Woodward Dream Cruise twice. Once from Illinois by me and once from Florida by the guy I sold it to mistakenly.
Twice we drove around the Lake from Michigan in our 55 Chevy Bel Air and discovered Wisconsin.

Is that a blue clamshell I see in the background of the first pic?

Stopped by to see the Lingenfelter Collection today. He had 3 of his Wagons there including a 442 Vista Cruiser build they had been working on.

Did the Dream Cruise with the 56 Chevy Yesterday. Warm and sunny with a little less walking around this year because of the heat. Had a great time cruising in the morning with family and friends. Spent the middle of the day relaxing with my Son's car club at our spot near 11 Mile Road watching the cruisers then after shut down we packed up and did a late night slow cruise back North up Woodward toward home.
Wish I had a dollar for everyone that took a picture of the 56, It could have paid for my trip.
Packing up and driving back to New York later today.
