Everything but the steering wheel works for me on this one (and of course loose the surf board in a ditch on the drive home:p), I really like it.

I don't remember what the suspension looks like under these, but if the tie rods are on the wrong side of the Pittman arm and idler arm, they will bend on a bad enough road driven at a fast enough speed...which is easy, when you don't know the road ahead of time. Otherwise, I like this little critter, color and all. One of my younger brothers used to street race his '64 Nova wagon. Target 350 engine, headers, nice intake and carburetor, with a 400 trans, and a narrowed Ford 9 inch. He got 23 MPG if he kept it at 65 on the freeway, but that thing won more street races than you would believe! It was orange under the Target engine blue, so we were never sure what it was. He once raced a Corvette on the freeway, and the guy chickened out at 120 when my brother looked over and waved bye-bye. That little Nova would go 160+ (calibrated Stewart Warner speedometer that went to 160). He was a real nut with that car. I've never gone that fast except in an airliner (though I have had three cars that I made it to 140 in, myself, in the '70s). He ended up junking the body and putting the engine a truck, since the body's sheet metal started getting shredded (especially the shock towers). Good times!
