In my class, anyway...My Country Squire won a damn trophy last week at an all-Ford show here in the city. First place! I don't know if I was the only car in that class, as my son actually took the car to that show, and I was at another show with the Coronet. My son left early. The show director called this morning to let me know I won a trophy, and we are getting together later in the week so I can collect it. So, the wagon wins one! Cool!
The Oklahoma Mustang Club hosted it, so there were many Mustang classes. Plus, there were close to 40 more classes for Ford cars and trucks. My car was actually relatively old at this show.
Thirty-year-old daily drivers usually don't win anything, so I was pleasantly surprised mine did win something.
