So I just bought this wagon http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35429 I flew from Oakland CA to Vegas, took a shuttle to the middle of the Mohave Desert and drove it home. I put 800 miles on the wagon in 3 days. Stopped and BBQ'd with friends in San Diego and San Luis Obispo. And made some new friends along the way. People really seem to like this car. So many people honked, waived, cheered and fist pumped when they saw the wagon. And the car did great. It cruises at 70 MPH, made it up all the hills and dealt with the 95 degree temps in the middle of the desert. I'm going to take it to my mechanic and have him give it a once over. But I'd say it's a solid wagon, given what we did the last 3 days! pics here: https://www.facebook.com/chuck.davi...0731.1073741830.1249355418&type=1&pnref=story and here https://plus.google.com/102840283091761916415/posts/4wDwc8JRxLN
Now you can move out of the van and up to the station wagon. You almost got your money's worth out of the wagon already in memories. The thread still won't come up.
That was a facebook photo album that I made public. try this one - it's a google photo album - also public. https://plus.google.com/102840283091761916415/posts/4wDwc8JRxLN Does this forum support tapatalk? I couldnt find it...

From things I've read many people can't even wax a car at home. Where we are now we can do anything. I didn't think about it till now. We bought a small place inside the city back where I am from. Right when we moved away they passed all sorts of anti-auto work laws there. It's getting so old cars as a hobby will become a rich man's game only. Might take up stamp collecting or hunting butterflies. Is there a law against hunting butterflies out of season?
So is that your latest excuse for not moving, can't knit in Illinois ?? BTW, , what a drop dead stunning wagon you got, IRMB..It's awesome!
I really like it. It's got some bugs to work out - but it's fun. I get comments everywhere I go. Hell, even my wife likes it!
