As stated I am looking at replacing the aftermarket AM radio and non retractable fender mounted antenna on our 78 Catalina Safari.

I am looking for a 2 post style AM/FM with MP3 imputs, no CD or Tape needed. Stock looking pushbuttons are a bonus. Just looking for Ideas and anyone who likes or dislikes a specific Model.

Just starting to research them, but after taking a 6 hour cruise a couple of weeks ago, we need something better than really really bad AM reception.

Thanks for the input, they are one of the brands I am looking at. Nice to hear something good about them. I usually don't trust product reviews on sites selling the product.

I always go with Pioneer decks, 2 post cassette to now they all have their "Super Tuner" in them. Makes it so you do not need a big antenna or some booster, both wagon and Firebird it has been shaved off. I still plug it into the wire in the dash but no big wiggle wand in the air.

Since no one else has chimed in, I'll go ahead and mention that I've heard bad things about Custom Autosound. This is second hand from friends who have tried them. They complained about reliability and poor quality.
