This one has been listed before. Looks like someone is flipping it. When I checked it out before it was available for $4000.

Someone stopped just a bit short on the options list. No P/W.

Here's a post from over 2 years ago when this wagon first showed up on the market. There was a forum member, from Colorado, who was very interested in it. We communicated several times, but it never worked out. From what I remember, the original seller's bottom dollar was $3700. He had listed it a couple of times.

    First time

    Second time (a year later)

It's definitely a different seller this time around. Different location and phone number, unless he moved.

Yeah, quite curious it has virtually all other options except P/W and P/seat.

"Turbine spoke cast aluminum wheels (N.A. on wagons)." Bahstidges. They look their best ON the wagons.

Oh, yes, that is gorgeous. I checked the copy I have of the '78 Ranchero brochure I printed off the Web; they weren't offered for Cheros either (I have a '79 GT).

They were NA on the LTD II, period. The turbine wheels are 15 inch, and LTD II and Ranchero came with 14s. Same with Cougar, except XR-7. Turbine wheels were one of the options on both the XR-7 and Thunderbird, in a 15X6 with the front face of the spokes polished, the sides were left rough cast.

The LTD wagon, like the sedan and Coupe, came with 14 inch wheels. They may have had a turbine spokes wheel on them, but I have never seen them. Only Thunderbird and XR-7 came with 15s. The ones on the wagon in the picture are newer wheels. They look like the 1990 Grand Marquis/Colony Park turbine spoke.

Often the brochures were not accurate or they added accessories meant for other models. Even some show room models were dressed up to help sales.

Lots of errors in them, and quite often, manufacturers would make mid-year changes.......

As to the errors, I was looking up something for here the other day from my on-line brochure source. Don't remember which brochure it was, but let's say it was for a '76 Buick Century / Regal. (I double-checked this just to make sure I myself wasn't crazy......) Brochure said, right on the cover page, in BIG letters, " '76 Buick Century / Regal' " - but on one of the pages toward the end, the text, in talking about the car, says, ".......your 1975 Buick Regal...
