Seems familiar, but then again, we've seen several of these '63 Country Squires in Wimbledon White over the past few years.

Hard to identify it further without more pics or details.

I have my doubts that these pics were taken in Ontario since concrete driveways are not often seen here in the Great White North. Not impossible, mind you, just unlikely.

Up for auction in Toronto May 2. Buyer pays a 10% premium on the selling price. Quite a bit to pay, just for the privilege of buying the car at their auction.

Just about every reputable auction house......
The standard is 10% and usually a couple
percent more for off site bidding...

I remember the amber headlights. Nice looking wagon wherever it is.
That cement drive looks brand new as does the garage next to it.

All of them do. That is how they make their money. Some have a commission on BOTH the buyer and seller, like RM, B-J, Kruse, etc.

This wagon doesn't appear to have anything larger than the old 352...could even have the little 289...

So with the 13% HST (sales tax) that we have here in Ontario and the 10% auction house surcharge, my dream $50,000 '66 Mustang is going to cost me $61,500.

    Think I'll keep dreaming. :D

Car sold for $CDN 26k on May 2:

    http://www.ccpauctions.com/lot-details.php?RefNum=r078&EventID=90

So the Canadian seller bought the car for $CDN $16,127.84 on Nov. 26 2014 (give or take, depending on the exchange rate he actually got).

Seller then paid $CDN 2,096.62 HST on the car (assuming he registered the car in Ontario).

Let's say he spent another $CDN 1,000 on transporting the car to Ontario. Food, gas, motel if he transported the car himself, possibly more if he used a carrier. Maybe less if he slept in his truck on the way.

Total expenses: $CDN 19,224.46. Profit of $CDN 6,775.54. Not too bad.

ha one just like it back then.

Back in 1965 I had a nearly new black 65 fastback with the rally pac. .(y) Traded for a new 72 Gran Torino because three kids fit the wagon better. Why'd I ever get married?:banghead3:
