I am a Ranchero nut, have always loved the long roofs as well. I have a 1957 Meteor Ranchero and a 1973 Ranchero and have owned several though the years. I am in the market for 1960 2 door Frontenac wagon and or a 1964 Mercury.

A Meteor Ranchero - and the first year, too? That's GOTTA be a collector item. We'd love to see a pic of that one!

    Welcome to the SWF!

Yes Frontenac wagon. Check this out. I know this fellow. Ho took a Falcon Ranchero and turned it into a Frontenac Ranchero.

Here is a few shots of my "57 Meteor Ranchero. Yes it was the first year for North America. This is 1 of 96 built, since it is a V8 car, the other 204 were 6 cylinders. All original except the tri power and chrome valve covers.

    :Welcome: aboard!
That is one beautiful '57 Meteor Ranchero. Very nicely restored. I can't say that I've ever seen a Meteor Ranchero before. Thank you for posting pics of it.
It's always a treat to see a rare unusual car.
I assume it's 312 under the hood, correct?

Doing my research no they did not put a 312 into a Meteor Ranchero. Since this is a factory A/C car I found out that they usually put a 292 into a factory A/C car. That is a original 1957 292 Canadian block.
