    Update…..

I picked up the car t=from the body shop the other night.
Today was the first time I've seen it in daylight.
They did exactly what I asked and maintained much of the original paint.
I put it back together today.
    Take a look…….

    @Krash:
    Thanks!!
No, that is the original fender with the original vinyl.
I did the rough bodywork myself and had the shop do the finish work and the paint.
Only the very top of the fender was painted.
The paint from the top of the vinyl down is still the original paint.
Of course the trim is original as well……I'm still looking for a patinaed original.
The trim looks like a kid with his 2 front teeth missing.

That is soooo much better than the 68 Fairlane you had me look at in Cochise. You are far better off with tis one, It looks great!

    Thanks Bill.
And the best part is that I'm in it for way less money than the Fairlane would have been + it was local.
    I'm happy with it.

    Thanks!
I'll take some shots of the interior when I get a chance.
The back looks like it's never been used.

    Update…..

I've been working on the car off and on since I got it back from the body shop.
Mostly cleaning the interior and hand rubbing out the paint.
I added vintage Ansen slotted mags with 225 70 tires all around.
    14" Front & 15" Rear
    I also added a Quik-N-Eazy gutter mount rack and a 1960's 9'6" surfboard.
    I posted some pictures…...
