And no - this isn't my wagon. Mine was yellow, though (much brighter when new)

Wonder why Buick didn't build a B-body wagon for 65 and up?

If they did, it would be possible to Wildcat it:

That would probably be a nightmare for nudist beach visitors. Imagine some nut driving amok on one of those beaches with an extremity catcher folded into each front fender

Yeah, Preston Tucker may have been a crazy showman, but he sure had good ideas; he had built a prototype, from his own money, of a scout car he offered to the U.S. Army that had such a powerful engine, it would outrun all the other Army tanks and vehicles! The Army said "No thanks."

Old topic back from the dead.....not a problem, Ivy!

I sorta like that Renault 5 wagon......

    Side question:
Does anyone know whatever happened to Hanswurst? He just seemed to disappear......

He got locked out. His password didn't take anymore. He was too long out of the forum, after his wife kicked him out. He ended up sleeping in his car for a couple months, before finding a place in a halfway house. Now, he's got an apartment and an internet connection, once again. Next time, he should pay attention and watch those signs:nailbiting:

In a strange sort of way I miss Hanswurst. He came up with some interesting topics and photos. I'm sure the padded cell where he lives in the "Home" will eventually get internet and he'll have many things to update us on. :nailbiting:

He doesn't live in that home, anymore. He found an apartment and started padding it himself. He even collects very tight, white jackets to compliment the padded walls. He says, the reason he pads his walls is to save on heating bills. I, personally think he's not telling us the truth. I suspect, he padded the walls to save on ambulance costs, in case any debuting kidney stone sends him banging his head on the wall in pain.
