Welcome. We are doing well. An introduction with a parts search stinks. We'd like to get to know you before we tell all our secrets.

Dennis Carpenter is your man for the door seals.

They are extruded foam and the same stuff goes around all the doors and the tailgate and lift gate. To do the whole car will take one roll per item or 6 bags for a 4-door wagon.

Tail pipe can be made up by any decent exhaust pipe welder.

I should know, I've done both things to my '58 Ranch Wagon.
    Welcome aboard. :Welcome:

    1957 Ford Wagon Door Seals

Thank you for the information you posted regarding door seals for a 4 door Ford wagon. I checked with Dennis Carpenter this morning & they couldn't determine what the part number was for the weatherstrip seals that you used on the 1958 Ford Wagon. If you have a part number, please advise, Thanks

The part number I used for all doors was #B7A-5943706-A.

Then get 3M weatherstripping glue and follow instructions.
Hardest part was scraping off the old seal around the door hinges. Very tight.
Start laying the seal about half way down the outside of the door, across the bottom (inside the channel), up the hinge side and over the top putting the joint inside the dogleg. Cut to length.

Use your finger for spreading the glue. Nasty stuff and doesn't clean up very well, but well worth the effort.*

The seal was an exact match for my wagon and from what I have seen at car shows, it should be a match for your's as well.

Convertibles and some 2-door hard tops had fitted seals. But not the wagons.

(*Yeah, my car looks pretty rough. But it's sealed up, heated and the wipers work. I drive it every day and it's very dependable. Plus, I can leave the keys in it and nobody touches it!)

Jairus, we really appreciate your help; we've got them ordered! The next thing is to figure out about the wiper motor; the existing one is locked up.

    Thanks!
