No time to get in touch with transporters today. Hopefully tomorrow. 16 hr days are killing me. I did let the owner know I'm buried at work right now. It never fails, got the cash but don't got the time....

The seller speaks very highly of it. It does need a headliner (gone) and a trim piece on the driver door below the woodgrain is MIA.

I'd fly in and drive it home but he swapped in a 3.73 gear so 1200 miles of highway travel is out of the question with the V6/TH350. It would be wailing at 3000 rpm the whole way.

    I will keep you posted.

I'm out of play on this one.

To transport is going to cost me at least $1K.

That combined with the needs on the car put it over what I am willing to spend on it.

The good new is I did go out and buy a new car trailer so I'm ready to go get anything that is a reasonable distance from central Florida.

Sorry it won't work out, but out of curiosity, what did seller say this wagon needs?

    From our conversation he disclosed:

    1. The headliner material is gone. The backer is still there but no fabric.
    2. A piece of trim (bottom side of woodgrain) is missing from the driver door.
    3. Chrome on rear bumper is peeling.
    4. Front bumper fillers are falling apart. Rears are already replaced.
    5. Has 3.73 gears with posi. Not sure if it was a 7.5 or 8.5 rear. He wants to switch the old
ones back in. Plenty of ways for things to go wrong there.
    6. AC needs recharging which means a leak.

In the grand scheme it is not much but for me with transport I would have close to $7K in the car when it was all taken care of. Considering that G-Bodies have not yet reached a desired collectible status yet, I would rather not get in too deep with that one.

I do really like it though....

I have a 1986 Buick T-Type ( Grand National) parts car. Everything is there. engine, trans and rearend. The exhaust even has the cats. This would make this wagon come alive!

Yeah, but not "Wow" only $4800 ,, more like $4800?, Wow!?

    7. You can't roll down the rear door windows, only the vent windows open = a very tornado like interior with no A/C in the summer unless you have the tail gate window open witch also does not roll down into tailgate.

Back in the early 1990s we had a 1985 Buick Regal Custom coupe.
