    this one would be a good buy at that price compared to the one on the side of the road in another post;could not bring that one up to this look/finish even if at 0$

    Personally, I think that ratty Edsel looks awesome as it is except for the glass and then the floor panels which need some patching if not completely replaced. It would work well in the making of some B-movie.

    I was thinking the price was way high, then I noticed the 429.......
    This thing would make a real nice cruiser.

    What a showboat! I love it! There are minor problems I don't care for, but I'd learn to love them. I know that the 430 came out in 1958, in Lincoln and Mercury, maybe TBird too, when did the one known as 429 come out? Nice colors too, the seats are nowhere near original, but they beat the ones in the New Mexico car.

    It's a 'modern' 429 replacement - like a '68 Thunderbird would have, or something similar.

    When I was driving through that area and saw that wagon I about flipped. It is sure a beauty!!
