Been pretty buys on the longroof lately, I removed the interior and ripped out the disgusting original carpet and the sagging headliner. I then sanded the floor pans, and the inside of the roof, and applied duplicolor bedliner to both surfaces. This is only a temporary fix, until i can afford carpet/headliner and it will act as a noise dampener. I also sanded and painted the rims a honeydew green color, and flipped the tires so the whitewalls are out. Anyway enjoy some pictures.

That must have been a fun job, sanding down the underside of the roof - on your back, with all the stuff falling on you........:90:

That's just part of the fun of owning and working on your own old car. Things people who hire it out miss.
Nice work 68. Keep at it!:yahoo:

I was thinking the same thing, that couldn't have been a fun job?

Your car looks great. Perhaps it's just the lighting in the photo, but the rims look white?

Yes, sanding the underside of the roof was fun, and very messy. I was thankful for my N95 mask and safety glasses. Yeah, the lighting takes the color away from the rims, I’ll try and take some different pics and see how they turn out.
