Cat and his PC... "many pics don't show up problem" that I sent him (and some times he has the same problem on the forum)....... so hoping pics will show up here for him Yesterday/last night was Deb's annual for charity company golf tournament, golf of course (I didn't go for that) dinner ( dam rites I went for that!) then hords of prizes in a buy a $1 ticket and put it in the bag of the prize you want. Every year it's for a different/new charity and last night it was for the Fire Fighters Royal Jubilee hospital burn unit family housing = Just like the Ronald McDonald houses where family can stay for free if you live out of city on site at the hospital while burn victims are being treated....... They raised just over $5k last night Along with that they have a yearly theme, this year was "geeks" soooo I guess I didn't really have to get dressed up but everybody did and it was for a good cause............. We spent a couple hundred on tickets, I stuffed in for several I want it prizes but of course didn't win what I wanted but put 1 ticket in for a new 5 gallon baby shop vac and won it. Deb won golf balls and then the last prize witch was...................... Tofino...... map shows a airport kinda close, doesn't tell you that the biggest plane that can land there is a 16 passenger prop plain The resort....... They have Dog friendly suites witch I'm sure will cost extra but we have no problem with that. We are planning to ad 1-2 days at our cost on the trip also. Kinda plan on going the second week of October before the weather seriously changes...... The Inn..... http://www.wickinn.com/ It's located on the point between Mackenzie Beach and North Chesterman. You can kinda see a boat and it's white wake, emidietly to the right there is a point, that's where the inn is... I'm sure I will have a updated REAL pic of this..... nobody holding hands, 2 dogs laying me out like lawn furniture in the water........ I think we will blast up there in the 83 Olds, that should give the old wagon a good "stretch it's legs" before going back into storage. Apx a 6 hour drive from home as once you leave the #1 HYW it gets nasty steep and windy but we are going to make a long day of in no hurry stopping here and there once we pass Port Alberni. .

Congrats Tedy! My sister and brother in law are coming up to stay there in November to do a little storm watching. Apparently doing that is quite popular. They are staying in one of the dog friendly suites with their Golden Retriever. Have fun!
You two... are naturals at being geeks... Tedy...it looks like your REALLY concentrating on growing that hair...and it's working...congratlutions you look years younger... Tedy Tedy Tedy... your going to be at a romantic resort with a beautiful beach and enjoying an amazing meal with one of the best looking Geeks that I've ever seen and your not even going to hold her hand... man you are really missing the point of a romantic weekend away... If I hold her hand that would mean 2 people face slammed into the beach and washed away with the tide considering we have the dogs...... so who would take care of the dogs????
