I have a PERFECT candidate for this. And I guarantee it would draw probably more attention than anything they can find! Altho I am in PA.

got a 59 ford sitting in my shop and you could always do my 59 chevy which has been in a few mags and my kids grew up with. it has taken us on family vacations to rock city, atlanta, nashville, and a few hot rod power tours. my wagon freinds here even helped me to get the picture of the week from the Tail of the Dragon

    Hey guys
So we're in pre production at this point so we can't yet say the show, but we will be able to give that info shortly.
What we're doing now is looking for people who might have a car that has meaning to them and so on. Maybe other things have gotten in the way of getting it back on the road.
Before anybody would ever work with us. You'd know the show, the network and so on.
We're not asking for people to just give a car to us.

Thanks for all the responses! We've gotten some really good candidates. We've posted on other forums as well, so we're open to other cars besides wagons.

It may be helpful to know the direction you plan to take with the cars for your show. Will it be like Overhauling and you build it the way you like and expect the owner to love it, or will the owner have final say as to what the car will be when its done?

You don't want a multicolor paint job, 22" chrome wheels and huge speakers in the back of your wagon? ;)

Well then I do appreciate the 1.1% who have written emails. Because we have got some great options and will be getting back to people soon.

This could be a great deal and a lot of fun for a few members.
Sadly most of us have been around the corner and most likely lied to and cheated. I recently sold a small RV to an honest man who was gonna pay me in a few days.....the end of June, when he got paid. I let him have it with no title and no money. The police recently stopped in to see if it was stolen because another man now has it and is waiting for my title.
It wasn't much but things like this keep me and others from trusting strangers with our pride and joy old cars or station wagons. Mine does need a lot done and I have other stalled projects I can't work on.
I suppose most, like me, are just waiting to see what may happen about this TV show. Will a pretty buxom blonde with a revealing blouse and tattoos redo the enterior while guys in bib overhauls do all the mechanical work for free? Or will my wagon vanish into thin air?

Thanks for the offer and good luck.

The difference is, we aren't a person off the street.
    We're a production company who's making a tv show for a network.
Before anybody hands over a set of keys, there's contracts in place.

You guys will soon find out the show, and hope everyone watches!

I, for one, look forward to see where this goes, production-wise. I know of a Mopar in the DFW area that was featured on Overhaulin', and it is a beautifully-done car!

    Have faith, guys.
