    Hey there everyone!
My name is Jim and i just purchased a 1957 Buick Riveria Estate Wagon to start restoring. I have laread restored a 1957 Buick Special 2Dr Sedan, and loved the looks of the hardtop wagon. I will be looking for parts, so if you know of anybody that is parting out one, let me know. Here are a couple of pictures of the beauty as she sits today in my driveway! Looking forward to hearing from anyone who might have some tips on the restoration.

Beautiful wagon, Jim. Welcome to the SWF.

The guys and gals here on the forum may sometimes get a bit tired of my posts every time I have to mention my love for these wagons. Just getting a ride in one would be a dream come true.

As to your new project, I'd suggest starting a thread in our (appropriate) 'Projects' sub-section of the 'Cosmetics & Restoration' section. One of our old-time members just acquired a '58 Caballero project (JMT455) , and will I'm sure be following this, as will I.

    Good to have you here!

The older Buick and Olds have such great lines. You will have some real eye candy with those beauties. Maybe I will see them on one of my trips to see my son in Michigan. Welcome aboard.

    :Welcome:aboard, Jim.
What a great pair of cars. The wagon was a good score. It's getting harder to find nice restorable cars in original condition. I always liked the '57 HT wagons.
The 2-dr sedan is super nice. A friend of mine had a '57 2-dr HT for many years and sold it earlier this year. I think he regrets it now. His car was on a '72 Buick Estate chassis with a 455. He kept the body fairly original down to the stock hubcaps. It was painted the original tomato red color.
Rechroming those bumpers aren't going be cheap..
