Any longroofs going to make the trek? It's a cool thing if you've never been. I used to live about 3 miles off woodward and had some good times! Hoping to make it down in the WAYGONE!

Still fabricating on my 66 Malibu Longroof 2door conversion build I bought in Detroit during Woodward in 2012. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29015&highlight=rmay
This year I will once again be driving my 56 Chevy Ex Longroof/Elcamino conversion. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/some-pics-of-my-friends-1956-elcamino.399170/r
Our son lives in Michigan so I have only missed a few Woodward cruises over the years. This will be the 4th trip there with the 56.
On Wednesday evenings there is a great cruise night in Holly Michigan, a little town further North.
Lots of stuff going on all over leading up to Woodward. Always had a good time, met great people and certainly kept myself motivated with the overwhelming variety of vehicles to see.

Beautiful '56, RMay. It totally looks factory. Excellent job. Can't wait to see the finished Nomad.

Did the college thing with our son at GMI in Flint back in the 90's. I used to run the route thru Canada both ways in the same day. The borders getting back into the US have not been the same since 911 so now I mostly travel the PA/Ohio route.
Which school is he attending here in Rochester?

He's going to University of Rochester pre-med, then straight in the Navy as an officer while he finishes med school. Not bad for a smart @ssed 17 yr old to get a full ride scholarship. Told him he needs to do well and BUY A WAGON!!!!!:rofl2::rofl2:Actually bought the WAYGONE to take the roadtrip for him starting school!

The U of R is a fantastic school. Expensive too so that scholarship will be a big help. If you spend a few days here there are cruise nights all around every night. A big one on Friday's is at the Shriners off Bay road overlooking Irondequoit bay. On some good nights they have had over 400 cruisers show up.

Send me a message when you are in Rochester. I know of a few cruises on Thursday's.

Drove back yesterday from Michigan. Had a great week helping my son build his new horse barn, avoiding the historic Detroit flood and of course getting some cruise time in.

Awesome pics of the cruise. I love your 56 Nomad-Camino.
Looks like you had your hands full with the barn construction, but you have the right tool for the job. Nice M-series Kubota. Looks like either a 40 series or an MX5100.

I was there on Saturday..it's a long way from South Carolina.

I was attending the '54 Ford Club of America convention but had to cruise Woodard since we were so close. HRP
