I am a new member, but long time wagon fan. I enjoy all brands of wagons, and have owned a 1968 427 Kingswood Estate wagon since 1978. I recently purchased a 1965 Country Squire . It is powered by a 289 so it is absolutely the opposite end of the spectrum from the 1968 Chev power wise. If you tuck in tight behind a Semi you can keep up with traffic up to 65 MPH.

Both cars are nice survivor cars. I will post some photos here in the next few days once I am in front of the PC I keep my photos in. I am looking for nice or NOS roof rack for the Ford. Any ideas? or does anyone have one for sale??

Same here. I see there is a fair amount of history with your cars. I wish I had pictures of my 68 all the way back to when I purchased it in 1978, but I never took the time.

Yeah, I'm lucky to have had the wagon in the family since new. Its pretty cool to see it in photos from before I was even born. The family connection to the car is what makes it that much more special. You've had the 68 since 78? That is real neat. I'm sure you have a family photo with it in the background somewhere...
Anyhow, glad to see you are still enjoying it.

That is a gorgeous pair of longroofs, deepo. The rally wheels on the Chevy really dress it up nicely and it looks like it's in mint condition. I've a question on the Ford. I see the wheels are white? What kind of wheel covers are on the car? I know back then if it had the full wheel covers, the wheels should be black, but since your's are white, I'm wondering if it has the little hubcaps.
(The longer you stick around the forum, the more you'll see I'm a bit ocd when it comes to wheel covers and tires. I'm trying to deal with it and my psychiatrist is saying I'm making headway!)
