    1968 Dodge Monaco wagon - $4000

    $4,000 OBO

Car runs great - mechanically sound. Since buying it 3 years ago, I've redone the brakes (new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, lines) replaced the radiator, plus a lot of other odds and ends to make it roadworthy. I have receipts. 383 c.i. engine runs great.

Dual exhaust with glasspacks. Sounds awesome.

Power steering, power brakes. Power rear window works like a charm.

    "3rd-row" seating.

Sits on itty-bitty 14-inch Crager mags for a cool effect. Good whitewall tires.

Interior in generally good condition except for the front seats, which need reupholstered. Needs carpet. Headliner is good. The dash clock even works (sometimes). Lights and wipers work.

This is a really unique car and I know I'm going to regret selling it, but I'm moving and can't take it with me. It's perfect for tailgating and Foxfield. You can enjoy it as is, or do like I originally planned and restore it. I was going to do a white-and-red color scheme instead of white and brown.

I bought it from a police officer in Luray. It's originally from the Tidewater area.

My brother-in-law in Carson City has a '66/'67 Riviera in similar degraded condition. When he bought it around 1994 or so it was in pretty good shape. I might offer to buy it, but his value of it would be full of 'wasgonna's...... As in, "I was gonna........." My offer would include 'neverdids'.........
