    Hey all,

I'm new here (just introduced myself last week). I thought I'd post a few pictures of the windshield frame rust repair that I'm finishing up on my '65 Impala wagon. For those of you that own '65-70 Chevys your probably aware how common this rust is on our cars. I fab'd all of the patch pieces with a small sheet metal brake and a shrinker/stretcher set. I'm just showing the passenger side lower corner but I did a total of three large patches to complete the job. I'm not a pro, but I'm happy to answer any questions if you're thinking about tackling a similar project.

Nice job on the lower window. I'm in the middle of restoring a 65 convertible and my cowl area is gone along with the area where it meets the firewall. Going to replace lower cowl with after market one then patch dash area as you have. Keep up the good work (y)
