Wow, that looks like a bargain! Looks like it also has A/C and disc brakes!

This car has cleaned up too nicely to be a daily driver. It may not be exactly concours material, but it would make a great car for local shows and cruises, assuming it's not a rust bucket underneath. And for $1200, the price of entry is a bargain.

    Notes:

The original engine on this car was 2000 cc (Ford of Germany) OHC 4 cyl. It was the only engine available for the '73 Pinto wagon. The 2300 did not become available until '74.

Disc brakes were standard on all Pinto wagons. Power assist was not available in 1973.

I don't think it has A/C, but I can't tell for certain. I lose too much resolution when I enlarge the interior photo in the ad. It looks as though there's a heater control panel in the center of the dash; A/C cars had vents here and the heater-A/C control on the console.

Even though some sellers are asking outrageous prices for them, the hubcaps (actually wheel covers) for this car are not rare. They likely produced a couple of million of them. I probably have two dozen of them myself (though not necessarily in the best condition).

I heard that! I'd be all over this, if it wasn't on the opposite side of the country.
