You bet. Best 150 clams I ever spent. Especially if your friends and neighbors have OBD2 cars.

Sometimes the engine control lamp from my 98 Cherokee says there is a problem with the engine/car, with the OBD2 tool I can get the Info what is wrong and I can fix it. And I can read a lot of Infos on the smartphone display during driving the car.

That's a neat (and cheap) tool. I'll be adding that to my Christmas list!

OK, I just downloaded the Torque Pro app from Google Play($4.95) to my sister's Android tablet and got the Bluetooth adapter($11) Thomas mentioned. No CEL light on but live data is showing a couple errors...."not OK's". Who can help me interpret them??

I did....the ELM 327, I got the regular one but they also make a "mini" version apparently for vehicles that might have space problems for the adapter in the OBD2 port.

It comes with a mini CD, don't know what's on it, I was warned in my research that it DID have a :naughty: virus on it, so did not install it.

After getting the device paired, it seems to work pretty well. I have no codes showing but a couple "not ok's" showing for O2 sensors.
