400 V8. Power tailgate and 3rd seat, and it's again in the color that Kingswood72 has correctly identified as apparently the paint color at least 90% of '73 Caprice Estates were painted. :yup: At $5700, it has notable problems, including significant body rust. Premier, your newly acquired '76 CE is looking better and better! :bouncy:

lol, for a minute there, I thought it was the super rare bronze that I love. lol.

This car looks very familiar. I know these cars have the typical rust area, but this car appears to have the exact same rust spots and SIZES of this 1973 Caprice Estate that I found in Florida in 2008. The rust hole under the cargo area window is the same size and shape as the wagon below. I cannot find the driver-side or interior pics I had of that car, but it all looks very much familiar... even the options. If it is the same car, it has certainly went down hill since 2008 and someone has stolen the original hubcaps and found two off of a '74 Impala and did something to the front suspension to make it look like the car was missing the engine. Could be the same car for sure. I will have to see if I can find those other pics I have of this car, but I am pretty sure it is the same one. Also if that is the case, they have replaced the hood and header panel.

Could be the same wagon, and if it has been sitting outside for a full five years in the weather since 2008, that would explain the unfortunate deterioration of its appearance and condition.

I would say so as well. I finally found the driver-side photo I had of the car... I attached it below. I am a little more convinced now, because note the spot in the center there below the wood-grain behind the rear driver side tire. Some of the rust spots are the same... plus more. ALSO, look at the front driver side fender - the same rust spot. Also missing the padding on the same rear bumper guard. I think this is the same car - if it is not, it misses a good chance. LOL. This car was actually on ebay in 2008, that is where I got these pics from. This car has certainly went downhill. :( It is still a very restorable car and I would love to have it. Despite the window rust, it appears to have a solid lower body. It has the right options - power gate, 3rd seat, A/C, tilt, etc. Too bad it lacks power windows and locks however.

Yes, I think it is definitely the same wagon. Not only is the rubber insert missing from the same rear bumper guard, but the dealer nameplate is in the same position on the left side of the wood grain panel on the tailgate.

Has to be the same wagon. It's gone significantly downhill though.
Seller seems to want 'good condition' money for a wagon that needs a lot of work. Under $2k value if you ask me........

Cult car but I don't think any cult members would be willing to drop that much coin on it.

I am thinking that when the car was on ebay when I was interested in it, that seller wanted like $3000 for it. Was probably well worth that then. I recall the interior appearing to be very damp however... I am sure every window on it leaks and Florida is a very rainy and humid state.

Strange someone removed the original hubcaps, then replaced TWO of them with '74 Impala hubcaps.

I would like to find some '73 Caprice hubcaps for my '72 wagon.

Does that look like some mildew on the steering wheel center pad?

What's this CE realistically worth with the problems as noted?

    Certainly not $5700.
