Hello. I am obviously a fan of older stationwagons. I like all old cars in general though. The wagons I have are a 1972 Chevrolet Kingswood Estate wagon and a 1989 Pontiac Safari wagon. Both are 3-seat models, with woodgrain and roof racks. I have only recently acquired the 72' Caprice wagon, after trying to buy it from the older lady owner for many years. It was setting in her garage for years. Its not perfect being an all-original 35 year old car, but is going to be an extremely easy restoration project I believe. It has the following options - 402 4bbl. engine, automatic, A/C, tilt wheel, AM radio, 3rd seat, luggage rack, deluxe wheel covers and I am still trying to decide if it has the power tailgate option. If it does, then it does not work at this time. The 89' Safari wagon, I have owned for several years. It is deteriorating. I either need to fix it and drive it, or sell it. It is still a 100% rust free car, with a good interior, but the woodgrain is starting to chip and flake. It is a nice optioned car... A/C, power windows, power locks, power seat, cruise, tilt, AM-FM, 3rd seat, luggage rack, cornering lights, woodgrain, etc. Engine runs good, but its very low on power. I suspect a worn timing chain or something. I actually would just like to find it a caring home... someone that has time to give it the TLC it needs. I also have a 73' Pontiac Grand Ville 4dr and a 00' Toyota Tundra 4wd truck. In the future I would like to also own a 1973-74 Ford Country Squire wagon and / or a 1973 Caprice Estate wagon.
