If you notice in the top pic, there's an aqua colored wagon in the background. Auction states he has 8 more '64 Comets that he'll be listing. Wonder if they're all wagons, and how long he's been hoarding these things. Would love to see these all together, at the same place.

 

2 links for 2 different wagons, owned by the same guy. Both are '64 Comets.

- First one (with the bubble hood) is a '404' model (basically a deluxe trim version). Has a lot of performance goodies. Has a BIM of $18k

- Second one is a '202' (plain jane) model. Has a warmed over 260 and a 4-speed. BIN is $11k

Now, on to my personal pet peeve........
I absolutely HATE those hood bubbles. Ugly, ugly, ugly.........
If you have a hi-rise intake manifold and you need to modify the hood, at least do something to make it look better that this..........

And yeah, I know, that's what some of the Ford factory drag racers used back in the day - '64 Fairlane Thunderbolt, et al. Functional? Yes. Good looking? NO.

 

I like the way the hood scoop was done on the second one. It is pretty unobtrusive. I think it would be even better it it were rounded off at the top front of the hood or beveled (raked back a little bit) so that it isn't quite as square.

I think the 2nd hood is from a '65 Cyclone.
