1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser

    I have just bought a 1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. On the back of the tail gate it says Village. I haven't seen this on others I have looked at on line. Is this a package that was offered? If anyone knows I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

    I bet KK would know for sure, my best guess is its previous owner was one of the Village People...did you find any strange outfits in the back?

    Thanks. It is super clean. Has 80k original miles and is about 90-95% perfect. Now if I can just get the wife and kids to ride in it with me!

    I've never heard of a "Village" version of a Custom Cruiser. Exactly how does it say village? Is it metal script like the words "Custom Cruiser?" Sticker? Are you sure it's not just the badge put on the car by the dealer, meaning it would be "Village Oldsmobile" or something like that? Can you post a photo of this?
