    1985 MERCURY COLONY PARK WAGON, NICEST IN ARIZONA! - $5300 (70 AVE/NORTHERN)

"This 1985 Mercury Colony Park wagon is the nicest 80's wagon I have ever seen.
It is almost like new and I don't think you will find a nicer 80's wagon anywhere.
The car has been stored away since 1997, for the last 16 years here in Phoenix and recently brought out into the daylight again.

We just serviced the Mercury with a new fuel pump, fresh oil and filter, fan clutch and thermostat, new tires and new battery etc. The car runs super nice!!!

The body is straight and rust free and perfect. The interior is as nice. it is like new.

The car has pretty much all options you could get and everything works still.

5.0L V8, PS, PB, PW, P-antenna, P-seat, P-rear window, PDL, A/C, tilt wheel, Cruise control, roof rack, tinted glass, optional aluminum wheels in like new condition, wood grain, when you touch the exterior door handles the key holes in the front doors light up, the third seat in the rear etc, etc, etc.

Email or call for more info on this rare and beautiful full size wagon.
    602/931-6000.

I might trade for an indoor propane forklift in good condition,
    pallett racks in good condition,
modern tire changer and wheel balancer,
    very nice shop tool box,
2 or 4 post car lift or other shop equipment in good condition.
If what you want to trade for is not of similar value you'd have to add some cash.

    NO TEXT PLEASE."

Looks a bit rough in places. Price seems high for what I see.

I know this seller and have done quite a bit of business with him. If anyone here is interested let me know and I can go look at it for you.

The 85 is beautiful, but I think he is over priced by a good $1,500 or so. Maybe. Have to go through the car and see. It does have a lot of options, but certainly not all of them. No vent windows, for one. Since they were only $187 in 89, I don't know why they weren't more popular. Doesn't have the tow package, either. All in all, a really nice car. There is one too many options for my liking, though. It has the climate control, and I am not a fan of this system.

Agreed, looks nice but definitely over priced.

At some point, someone did some upgrades to the interior. The high back velour seats are from a later 80's model. The 85's still had the lower back seats. The door panels have also been replaced. The 85 door panels did not have the courtesy lights near the door handle, and they still had the wood trim with the mercury emblem up above the door pull. I would love to have those seats for mine....especially since it's the right color!!

Merc: Those are the LS seats in that car. For 88, they became the base GS seat, and the LS seat was different again. The 88 and up LS had a seat back that was an inch higher than these seats, which is why I sprung the extra $1,000 for the LS on my 89 sedan. I did have these seats in an 87 Grand Marquis sedan, though. They are nice, but not as comfortable as the earlier still, plainer looking seat, and nowhere near as comfortable as the later ones, either.
