This one needs some work - especially inside.

1967 Mercury Comet Station Wagon not Fairlane or Mustang - $5000 (Rancho Cucamonga CA)

Very uncommon 1967 Mercury Comet Station wagon.
    289 SBF V8 engine.
    Stock Fiberglass Cyclone hood.
New 17x8 rims with BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2 staggered tires.
The stance is correct and the look is getting there. Drive it while you restore or build it.
The entire cooling system has been gone through on the car. New alternator, regulator and battery as well. The rear window was rewired and new motor was installed. Lots of maintenance work has already been completed.

Interesting car. I have a feeling he is high on the price by about 2 grand, but other than that, beautiful. With the right interior work, I'd love to have this one. I would get the ride back to normal height and ditch the oversized rims. 15 is plenty big for these cars, in my view. Certainly, you don't see many Comet wagons around, that's for sure.

That's true although Ellie, the lady druggist had one and later, Howard Sprague turned up with one.

I like it but i have to agree on the wheels, but then again, I prefer factory wheels. I would also change the color. Oddly though, black isn't my first choice. I'd go with a deep blue or even a rich, dark brown on this one.
