That was listed here a couple of months ago. I can not believe it has not sold yet.

This is an absolute STEAL! It's gotta be a solid wagon. Pricing's similar to the deal I got on my '81....... (actually cheaper)

    New guy

I hope to find a very nice low mileage 80's wagon, I wrote this person about their Pontiac wagon.. can someone tell me what state this is in? I'm in Dallas, TX and I haven't found anything decent priced around here in good shape and cheap enough.

Looks like this Pontiac has a torn drivers seat ...(not bad) though.. wonder what he means by needing things to be a daily driver? maybe tune up??

Like to have this one but if its a long ways off the transport/shipping would be expensive i'm sure.

I really wanted a 78 to 83 Malibu wagon but the one on this site from eBay is a V6 and too high for me. I don't have a family so I'm not worried about third row seating so the Malibu wagon fits me fine.

    thanks!

It's in Worcester, Massachusetts -- suburban Boston. Shipping would be around a grand for an open hauler, double that for enclosed hauling.

I question the 37K miles and the "flower hauling" story...I have a friend who is a florist, and they put that much PER YEAR on their floral delivery minivan.

I don't see the upholstery problem you're seeing. There's that stuffed animal (fish?) between the seats. The line you're seeing is the left eye of the fish.

Look on the back of the seat where your back will rest, from getting in and out.. you will see the tears not on the bottom part of the seat, just where your back will rest

A black wagon is rare, especially without woodgrain. Typically people won't buy a wagon like this because some might confuse it with a hearse.

If it was used for "flower hauling" it might mean a funeral home used it for flower hauling, from the funeral home to the grave site. That would account for the low miles, if it is accurate.

I see the bad part of the driver seat back, strange for such a low mileage car. My seat has over 156,000 miles on it, and barely shows wear.

I see the seat wear now. Not unusual for a 27 yr old wagon. I think Retropia hit the nail on the head. This was a florists' wagon for a funeral parlor or flower shop - probably already on the grounds of the cemetery. Probably means that it's had just as many individual 'trips' as your average 27 yr-old vehicle, it's just that the trips were much shorter on average. The seat wear is an indication of this - many get-in, get-out's racked up. I would also be worried about carbon build-up in the engine. Lots of short trips means that quite often the engine wouldn't be brought up to normal operating temperature before it's shut off again.

I've tried to contact the seller several times with zero response. I guess he really doesn't give a $#!t if he sells it or not.
