I love that paint color....looks sort of like some shade of champagne in the sun light. I don't think I've ever seen a box caprice in that shade. Is that a factory color?? I'd take it. Looks like someone cared for it.
Yes, that was a factory colour, and that does look like it is likely original, too. What a stunning wagon! I would think it is worth every little penny.
Looks like it's for sale still; same owner judging by the photos. Ad says it's only a month old. Gorgeous wagon! http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/4197965702.html
Yeah at the bottom of the craigslist ad it says updated 10 days ago, this is the guy that wouldn't contact me back last time, guess cause I'm out of town.. where exactly is that car? what state? thanks
I'm very surprised it has not sold. It's a beautiful wagon and the asking price is more than reasonable.
Hoping to take a look at it after Xmas. The guy who posted the ad is not the one selling it. He say's he posted for a friend. Maybe that's why it hasn't sold yet. I drove the RM up to mass Sunday night from fl. Had a long day driving thru snow all day Monday, but she performed like a champion. Averaged about 23 mpg at 75 mph until I hit the snowstorm starting just outside NYC. Since then, mileage is probably down a good bit, but she's handled everything mother nature has thrown at her. I was a little surprised at how well she does in the snow. Before I left, I put on a new set of tires all the way around (hankook Optimo white walls). At one point the other night, I made a wrong turn down a very narrow and steep uphill street in Haverhill MA. It was one of those deals that once you started, you have to keep going or back down in the snow (no fun with cars parked on the sides of an already narrow street). The RMW walked right thru about 6" of unplowed snow to the top. I was definitely impressed. And, IMHO the white walls look great
