    hello to all here!

i found my way to here over the biggest... well let's say german/austrian and swiss forum - uscar-forum.ch.

by now im only 19 years old but i drive a 96 Buick Roadmaster. here in germany its a VERY uncommon car and everyone looks at it as i drive along any road. well in fact - i'd like to do so.. but at the moment it doesnt run.. the engine has probs that i have to solve. :-( and that before summer begins!

before we bought the roadmaster - we (my family) had a 91 caprice wagon.. also a nice car! :) unfortunately we sold it for the roadmaster (instead of keeping both)

well.. so here we go with some pics ("normal" white with woodgrain... but that's the color scheme i like best) - enjoy:

if you want to.. check ou www.CarHunters.net - it's a site by me and a friend where we put all our pictures of nice cars that we see on the road in germany etc.
    also many nice wagons ;-)

yeah.. i think thats it so far - for the beginning!

i think i'll have a nice time here..

ps: i like the "live view" for the message window very much! great job to the one who made that!

    Best regards, Jonas

:Welcome: to the forum, Jonas. I know how strange this has to sound to people from the States that these cars are such a rarety, although they seem to become more scares there as well.

hehe yes.. and i already had to laugh here when i see people showing their "new, absolutely cool modded etc. VW GOLF "wagon".." in the US - cause i see TOO many of them over here.. (although stock..)

i mean.. our daily driver (roadmaster is the fun car for the summer) is a '97 ford mondeo wagon - v6, somewhat 170hp etc.. but - yeah - it's our daily driver so i dont see the necessity to post pics of it here^^ (well.. maybe i do when i have the time and feel like doing it.. :p )

Love your Roadmaster, just a classic example of what a wagon should be!

I'm amazed at the number of very young people in the wagons! This is very good. There has been a lot of worry over the years as to what would happen to the old cars when the older folks no longer could carry on the hobby.

THE HOBBY IS SAFE! World wide!

@ Krash Kadillak: thanks for the link - i'm already a member of this forum as well :) (why is it blue and underlined? only "krash kadillak" should be so..)

and yeah.. i don't know exactly why.. but i like wagons since i'm about 6 years old..

and btw.: i hate all the ricer and/or tuner kids (that's most people in my age..) in their ****ty little cars.. that they want to look cool.. but they seriously look like **** as well as is the "performance"..

I'm in the same boat as you buddy. My friends and I are all into V8 powered rides. Be they muscle cars, wagons, trucks, classics, etc, etc. We pick on the ricer kids all the time! haha!!

@ stickman.. hmm sorry.. the written language is 95% german. you can only set the board-language itself to english.

i mean there are a few people.. like dutch - that write english only.. and most of the german users understand that - but the point is: they (the dutch etc.) understand german. :p

A buddy of mine had a ricer Civic, so one day, we all picked up his car and put it sideways in the parking spot, then blocked him in with my Crown Vic, and a couple pick-ups and a Cutlass. When my dad was in High School, they took one of the kids' VW Beetles, and carried it to the front steps of the school and put it there!

    oh those kids

In the late 60's/early 70's,my Dad had a couple of 61 NSU Sport Prinzes. One of the neighbour kids confided in me one day, that the plan had been to pick one of them up and hide it in the bushes...Silly little foreign cars.
