Thanks for the links. I enjoyed watching them. I've tried to collect original documents, manuals, and other Ford dealer/marketing items from 1966. Wish I was able save these videos. I know there's a way, but I don't have any of the shareware that might do that for you. Thanks again for posting those.

Here are a couple of the best sources for vintage automotive TV commercials and promotional films.

Historical Video Archives has been around for many years. I was buying VHS tapes from them back in the 1980s. They have probably the most comprehensive collection of vintage TV commercials of anyone. Many that others have put together have probably been copied from this company's tapes. Quality varies depending on the condition of the original copy they made. But, many of their selections are two hours long while many competitors offer a half hour of material for the same price.

Check under the heading "by subject", but the Classic Car Commercials of the 1960's and 70's Vols. 1-4 will have alot of 60's American car commercials including Fords and including wagons. Vol. 3 has three 1966 Ford commercials. Vol. 4 has a Standard Oil commercial with a 66 Country Squire.

Muscle Car Films has a great selection with some unique offerings, and the quality is good. Unfortunantly for us, the focus is mostly on performance models, so theres not likely as many station wagon commercials in the mix.

Meanwhile, heres a 66 Ford Galaxie Ranch Wagon commercial.

Comments on those videos you posted, Jim:

#2 - '66 Ford CS, featuring the Dallas Cowboys
-- I believe this commercial was shot near Thousand Oaks, CA., where the Cowboys had their summer camp at the time.

    #3 - '66 Ford CS
-- This one seems to have been written and directed by Jack Webb.......

They were all pretty neat, but there was one really way out ad for 1961 Oldsmobiles with Florence Henderson and some pretty girls showing off most of the line and a Super 88 wagon with an elderly lady on the tailgate. That showed up on the screen after about the third wagon ad. Thanks for finding these!
