I would appreciate any leads in helping me find a '59 Chevy Wagon - preferably a Nomad! Looking for a restored car or a very well preserved original. Thanks in advance. Ron
Those '59 Batwagons are getting hard to find. All I'm seeing at the moment from my sources is this Brookwood: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1959...ectorid=229466&forcev4exp=true#ht_1528wt_1051 Good luck with your search....... Marshall
Sorry I can't seem to find a decent original car. but these are all the 59 wagons I can find available at this time. The Closest thing I found is this Nomad with resto started in Arizona http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/3883966011.html Or this 2-door Project also in Arizona http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/3832281953.html if you want a Turn Key Car and can afford it here is a nice looking Parkwood in Chicago http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/ctd/3930987663.html Now after doing some more looking I am Leary of the Chicago car as I found the same car for sale with more pic's in Atlanta http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/3928272098.html Or a Nomad in need of complete Resto in Iowa http://quadcities.craigslist.org/cto/3908921504.html Running small block Parkwood in Fla still $$$$ in my opinion. http://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/cto/3911158705.html I must be really out of my element as here is a parts car in Colorado for $2000 http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/cto/3892095679.html 2-door progect in Arizona http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/3914165806.html
Holy Crap! I remember when, just about five or so years ago, you could find a great-looking driver that needed very little for less than five grand. And a beater driver could be had for a thousand bucks.
Thanks for all of the information. Looks like the Chicago guy is trying to make a quick $8K! They all are pretty proud of their stuff I think. Continue to keep your eye out for me if you will please.
