It almost looks like it has no wheels and is sitting directly on the ground.

Possibly so, but the '64 big Fords were so 'slab-sided' that they looked lowered even when they were at the stock riding height.

This is the only thing I see of any real value.... it was left on the hood, not on the ground to sink and rot.....and it looks 99.9% complete.

It looks like most, if not all, of the hard to get or impossible to find trim is on this wagon, and I'm betting there are a LOT of other parts that could still be good. At least in Timmins, sun damage is almost unheard of. It is never that hot!

Come to think of it, I know of a '64 CS owner who is looking for the wood trim for his '64 CS. He doesn't participate on this forum ... I'll let him know.

That is not scrap metal! There are many, many parts that can still be used on that car and on all the others he has. I wonder if the GMC deilvery can be saved?

Ahh, but even a gold nugget is just another rock in the ground until you can bring it back to civilization! (Sorry, good folks of Timmins.) :D

Timmins is 71/2 hours from Toronto, 8 hours from Ottawa ... sad to say, but stripping them of parts and selling 'em on eBay, then calling the scrap metal dealer might be the only way of clearing out his field ...
