I'd take a real PG car ahead of an Ontario car, especially the '50's ones.(y)

I got 1955 Studebaker President coupe from a local farmer here, for free, years ago. Then he let me use his repair shed to restore it. Every evening, after work for 8 months, frame up resto. All he wanted was to borrow it for a 'honeymoon' trip with his wife for a week. It was their honeymoon car.

I worked for CAE Aircraft here in the 'Peg. They had these huge tanks to clean up Boeing 727 wings, so my boss let me bring the frame, then the body and boil the rust out and coat it with alodine and rust inhibitors. They had some leftover jet paint and leather upholstery and fabric and an upholstery shop on site. I paid for the materials, and the guys helped out. That was back in 1978. Sold it for a new Bill Blass Lincoln and $5K in cash! ;)
