Somebody needs to jump on this one FAST before it's gone or the price gets bumped up. Appears to be in Newport Beach, CA. Hey = fly in to John Wayne Airport, buy the wagon, have a little vacation, and drive it home......

And this one REALLY needs some new light-grain Di-Noc applied.

I was in that area this weekend for a Mopar show. I wish I knew about it so I could've looked at it.

 

Beautiful wagon, and for a driver, the paint instead of dy-noc makes sense.
at least they chose a tasteful colour for the inset. At this price, I hope someone grabs it fast before the derby crowd eats it.

 

Seller has now dropped the price on this Custom Cruiser to $1500. That's practically a giveaway price for a solid, running clamshell. Someone needs to save this wagon. It's way too far away from me to be able to get it and it's now in real danger of being derbied at that price.

I'm surprised it's still for sale. Perhaps it's got an issue or two, but at $1,500, who cares? Somebody in SoCal GRAB this one.......

 

WAY too nice to meet a horrible end at the hands of a derbyist! I guarantee, if that were within 300 miles of me, I'd be posting about my latest acquisition!

I like it minus the woodgrain, personally. It looks pretty darn nice!

 

This would be a great 'driver' for one of those European or Aussie/NZ tourists who want to tour the U.S.

 

For a non US-citizen the main problem will be insurance.

if it was a Buick for $1,500 I would be all over it.

 

I just send the seller a message. Car looks nice. See if he writes back,there was no phone number. The car is in the LA area, and I could fly in and drive this thing. Maybe I leave it at my brothers place, and then use it as a vacation car. I have a friend in LA who could pick it up for me.

 

Great! FYI, The wagon's in Newport Beach, which is southern Orange County. Expensive area..... Not too far from John Wayne Airport.
