From the looks of things, I'm gonna guess that some white powder, a variety of other recreational pharmaceuticals, and maybe some of that w a c k y tobaccee was involved in the building of this...thing.

I have long thought that this generation of Dart would make a nice wagon. Now, I'm not so sure. That THING is some ugly! It is, however a 2 door hardtop THING which gives it a certain amount of style, since the Dart Swinger and Valiant Scamp were the only 2 door hardtops in the compact cars.

Not really sure why Chrysler (and Chevy) both abandoned the compact station wagon market in the late 60's-early 70's. At least Chrysler got back into it with the Aspen and Volare', but GM let their mid-sizers fight that battle (which were too big to be compacts in the mid 70's, but finally got 'compact' in '78)

And then there was Ford in the 70's, The Brazilian Ford dealer made a sharp looking wagon out of the Maverick. The Granada in North America could have become a sharp looking wagon also, both had V8's and could have filled a void until the Fox wagons came out.
