While I was looking at the pictures of this wagon the only word that came to mind was WOW! That is a very nice wagon!

Very nice,:2_thumbs_up_-_anima Every time I see these wheel covers it reminds me of a 58 Plymouth wheel cover.

    It really is spectacular.

The only possible downside is it apparently does not have a/c. Not mentioned in the ad copy, and from the pic it looks like the basic heater/defroster controls. Still, this wagon looks to be museum quality in appearance and condition.

I like this fine-mesh concave grille. Kind of reminds me of '62.

Down here Love Bugs are now in season. Imagine how many you could catch with this!!!!!!!
One spring I was gonna be smart with my 55 Chevy wagon. I put a screen over the entire nose section with that plastic screen wire. Several times going down the interstate the hood release popped the hood. Glad the safety worked. After a few times I found out the wind was pushing the screen against the release knob. So much for anti-Love Bugs.
Those things are hard to remove.

This car looks great!! It is very similar to the 1970 Sport Suburban I grew up with . The dashboard is nearly identical. Ours was green, and had different seats, different steering wheel, and no fancy pull strap on the door. I wish my father had not sold it about 10 years ago, although the frame was rusted out (shops wouldn't even put it on a lift anymore), and back around 1980 the original 383 was replaced by a 1977 400, but same 2 barrel carburetor. I wish I could afford to buy this 71 Custom Suburban! My dad had a 1971 Fury III -- it was exciting to have nearly matching cars for a while. I remember when he first came home with that 1971 Fury, one of my brothers remarked that he didn't like the pin-holes in the grille. Interesting to see the similarity between the 62 and 71 grilles.

I guess I should have kept the matching twin to this car I bought in 1988...for $350!

The flipper, er, I mean seller goes on in his ad copy about the "limited number" of these they built in 1971...well, Chrysler built 9,103 six-passenger and 13,221 nine-pass Sport Suburban wagons for '71. Hardly "limited" or even "rare". The proper term would be "scarce".

The new price is WAY too high for the limited amount of equipment on the car.

Would be an amazing car if it had factory A/C. The lack of factory A/C on any car kills it for me. Not that I can afford this anyway. lol.

It's spectacular, but the price is way too high.
