SCHEW Martins? 1st off:Welcome:2ndly, GOOD LUCK WITH THAT SEARCH. The last Dodge panel that Walter P. Chrysler was involved with farz I know waz the Hump Back in 1937 or '38. Hemmings Motor News used to and maybe still might have a picture of one on the cover of their monthly. I think your best bet on that one will be the find the Dodge Long Roof, pick up a scrap hood or two and start tigging:thumbs2:. Somebody can shoot me if I'm wrong on this one:slap: Either way like I said, good luck with your search and welcome:tiphat:, Jer

I guess you mean a Town Panel Wagon. I think '66 was the last year that Dodge made them (maybe it was '67). They were sort of Dodge's version of Chevy Suburban. Basically a window version of a 1/2 ton Town Panel truck. The town panel body had limited styling changes through the 50's, and there wasn't even as much as a change in the grille after 1960. Are you looking for a 2wd or 4wd version?

This one is on Craigslist. It is NOT mine.

Yes Dodge made panel trucks like the 66 above for many years. Welcome and good luck finding one in decent shape.
I have a 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton panel that I am slowooooooly working on and love.
Make great rolling billboards for any business. A local locksmith here has the one ton longer model on a late model Chevy truck for his key shop. Really shows up as he wanders around town.

The one advertised looks darn nice. Drop a later Dodge engine in it and add your WORMS-R-US logo and you'd be all set.

    Welcome to the SWF, MartinS.

If you can, fill us in a bit more on your specifics.
What area are you in? What is your purchasing budget? Do you want a major project, a nice driver, or something in between? Also, why Dodge? Unfortunately, Dodge panels are far, far more rare than Chevys or Fords. Budget wise, because of that, your money is liable to get you a lot more with one of those.

    Good luck with your search.

Its all good. Maybe you were confusing the "panel wagon" with the "Paddy wagon" you once rode in the back of. :rofl2:

I was arrested once, in my youth. I wasn't even deemed 'dangerous enough' to warrant a paddy wagon. The cop instructed me to follow him back to the police station......
