I just purchased a 1969 Plymouth Sport Suburban on Ebay for $2,550.00. This 6 passenger wagon is equipped with PS, PB, AC, Cruise, roof rack, 383 2bbl and is all original and in good running/driving shape. The interior is good with the exception of the front seat. The body is straight, all chrome is good, paint/wood grain is original. I really like this long roof mopar but I'm having a difficult time really establishing a market value.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks

It really doesn't matter what we think the value is. The only thing that matters is what kind of deal you think you got on it, and that you're happy with the purchase. The 'market value' right now is not important, unless you're trying to get stated amount insurance coverage for it. If that's the case, then you might need a professional appraiser's opinion.

    Congratulations on your new wagon.

2550. for a running, car in decent shape seems cheap to me. Put on some pics. That will be a fun car to cruise in, should be easy to get parts for, etc.

If I had 2600 to s:yippee:pend on one of those, and it was where I could get to it. I would snatch that sucker up in a minute.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I think I'm just having a little buyers remorse.
I really do like the wagon and look forward to cruising it. Ultimately i plan to pull my vintage travel trailer (1967 Aristocrat LoLiner)behind it.

If its in mechanically good shape and the body is pretty solid with minimal or no rust, than its a very good buy.

I just looked it up on eBay on completed listings, and I think you did real good for yourself! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

The engine compartment was very nice and original looking. I bet that vinyl for the front seat is available from SMS.

Here it is...I think yours is Platinum, but it might be Champagne.

I think it's worth $2550 because that's the most someone (you) was willing to pay.

    Mopar Wagon

My 2 cents, Its a 1969,great year, has a big block, should have an 8 3/4 rear, runs and drives. The parts alone are worth more then what you paid for the whole car. As far as i can tell, you got a great buy.
