1965 Country Squire "woody" Wagon. About the car; the car is all original minus the 390 which was replaced in 1978 with a 1973 351 4 Barrel Cleveland motor and tranny. Motor is very clean. Runs and sounds awesome. Drives and shifts nice. When the mo [...]

We have seen this one on here before. There can't be that many of these, in turquoise, with a 70s vintage 351C and buckets and console added, not factory original. Still a sharp looking wagon!

Nice color. Could be a sharp looking wagon once the cleveland is replaced.

Well, as much as I really like the 65 Squires, I've got to call :naughty: :naughty: on this one. No FE engine, the buckets and floor shift. No thanks! :2cents:

    Buckets

Could those buckets be factory original? If so is there anyway to tell from VIN? I own a 1968 F100 that came with factory buckets and it is identified in the VIN.

Those 'bucket seats' are not original. They look like the ones that would have come in the '66/'67 Fairlane GT. Not much 'bucket' to them..........

Full size '65 Ford bucket seats (from the 'XL' package) would have looked like this: (scrolll over to the right of the big pic....)

    Hey Krash,
Thanks for the quick reply. Still think it's a fair price, especially if a guy has a period correct 390 to replace the 351, don't you?

I dunno on this one. $3,500 sounds like it's a bit rich for this one, considering its appearance. Depends on a personal inspection. If it seems solid and runs good, then $3,500 might not be a bad price. Wouldn't necessarily call it a steal though.
